Robert Browning was a British poet. Born on May 7, 1812, Browning wrote his first major work,"Pauline: a fragment of a confession" at the age of twenty. Warfield, the son of William Warfield and Mary Cabell Breckinridge Warfield, was a graduate of Princeton University. He also attended Oxford University and received a degree from Columbia Law School in 1885. Warfield practiced law for three years before becoming the president of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in 1888.
